Necessary preference and version
The preference is saved in the browser’s localStorage, not a cookie. The key novatrex_consent_v2 contains version 2, analytics/advertising choices and an update date, not an advertising identifier or form data. No automatic expiry is set. Unknown versions or invalid values are ignored. If storage is unavailable or cannot be updated, choices apply only to the page and older grants are not restored.
Optional tags and independent purposes
Google consent starts denied before initialisation. For browser measurement, no Google script, iframe, preconnect or request is intended before a relevant opt-in; server-side forwarding to Sheets to handle an enquiry is separate. GTM loads on form landings only after at least one positive choice; each tag must respect its own consent: analytics does not authorise Ads or vice versa. Elsewhere GA4 and Ads use direct integration. GTM does not indiscriminately authorise tags. Ad personalisation remains denied. No marketing subscriptions or enhanced conversions are implemented. Contact and submission remain available with both choices denied.
Withdrawal and cookies
Use “Cookie preferences” in the footer to change or withdraw each choice independently. Withdrawal updates consent, attempts to delete recognisable first-party cookies for the withdrawn purpose (_ga/_gid/_gat families for analytics, _gcl_/_gac_ for advertising), and reloads if a library is already active. Reloading may lose an enquiry still in progress: it does not prove that sending failed and does not automatically resend it. Cleanup is best-effort at the root path on the host and parent domains; it does not erase data already sent to providers or the inbox, or unrelated cookies. Events without consent are not retained or replayed after a later grant. Actual cookie/tag inventory and lifetimes must be checked with approved destinations and remain subject to legal review.
